June News

What a great time we had at the Butterfly Pavilion in Denver. We had 30 moms and daughters attend this year’s event. We saw butterflies, birds, lizards and turtles. Some got to hold a tarantula named Rosie and others put their hands in the water to pet starfish and a horseshoe crab. There was an area with giant sculptures of ants, praying mantis, a scorpion and a giant spider web that the kids climbed up on. This was a wonderful time for all. If you have never visited the Butterfly Pavilion, I would highly recommend it.
Daddy-Daugher Event: Our Daddy-Daughter event is coming up on June 14th. We will be going to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. We will include a scavenger hunt for some excitement. Lunch will be provided. There will be a sign up sheet on the table and an information sheet hanging on the Girls Ministries board in the east hallway. If you need more information, please contact me.
Camp is just around the corner and we will be having a parking lot sale on June 21st to help raise money for the trip. Any girl going to camp must participate in the sale in order to benefit from it towards their camp cost. If you have any good used items you would like to donate please let me know.
