Kid's Church

Boys & girls ages 3-12 join us every Sunday after the morning praise and worship. We meet downstairs. Come have fun and learn more about Jesus and how much He loves you!!

 

September News

It is once again time for school, which means a fresh start for many of our kids at Friendship Assembly of God. Kids’ Church is beginning some new things this fall in our time together. We are adding a new segment exploring stewardship (particularly with regard to money).
If our kids learn now how to use money as a tool and exercise restraint, I believe we will assist in setting them up for a successful adulthood with a healthy outlook on finances.
We are starting simply like this:
The “first fruits” belong to the Lord – Tithes – 10%
Next Savings – 30%
Then Spending – 30%
Finally Giving – 30%
Kids, that means 10 cents out of every dollar goes to God first. Next 30 cents (a quarter and a nickel) goes into savings, 30 more cents goes for spending (another quarter and a nickel) and the final 30 cents (the last quarter and a nickel) of your dollar goes for giving.
There is more to come on our stewardship segment, but there are other topics we are covering as well…knowing how to use our Bible, basic Bible stories, music, etc.
Kids’ Church would like to see a well-rounded puppet ministry come to the forefront of our sessions. If anyone is interested in joining puppet ministry, please let me (Ann Campos) know.
