Let the fireworks begin!
The rise of fire danger has eliminated our celebration of the pop bottle rocket, firecracker, and the golden fountain of sparks on Independence Day, but there is a new fuse being lit in our American tradition. We have seen our God given rights by our Constitution and our Bible eroded in the past two decades so much that even a blind or deaf man couldn’t deny. But I believe that as Christians and Americans we cherish God’s blessing so much that we never want to lose what has been endowed upon us in so great a nation.
I hope the fuse of “Hot Prayer” for our families and nation will be lit.
I would hope that fuse of “faithfulness to the Word” would be lit. The fuse to our constitutional right “to vote” would be lit. The fuse to faithfulness “to support” those who are standing up trying to lead the charge would be lit and the fuse of our first love would ignite us into action for reaching souls for Jesus which is our main thrust. Living for Jesus is not for quitters, people with the jitters and critters of apathy. Let’s let “the fireworks begin”.

Pastor Tom & Mary Craddock

Associate Pastor

Heads the Keenagers

Pastor Tom comes to Friendship Assembly with 35 years of pastoral experience, having been the senior pastor of churches in Colorado, California, and New Mexico. His heart is to see people set free by the power of Jesus in all areas of their life. He has spent countless hours in pastoral counseling. God has given him a real love for people. He is able to empathize with those hurting, as well as counsel them with wisdom and the Word; seeing people healed and come to wholeness through counseling methods, as well as the healing power of Jesus. Since one of the major causes of bondage in individuals is financial instability – also a major hindrance in many churches, one of the focuses of his ministry is
in the area of Biblical financial stewardship, which is an area in which God has gifted him.

Pastor Tom graduated from L.I.F.E. Bible College, Los Angeles, CA with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, 1967.His Major was in Biblical Studies with a Minor in Christian Education. He has had experience in church building, having built facilities for three of the locations in which he pastored. Before coming on staff at Friendship Assembly he pastored a church in Carlsbad, New Mexico for 15 years.

Pastor Tom has also served on short-term missions trips. He served as a trainer to church leadership in former eastern block and third world countries in the areas of church ministries; including doctrinal issues, preaching, teaching, administration, counseling, church growth, and Biblical based financial accountability.

Pastor Tom met Mary, his wife of 40 years, in college. They have two grown, married daughters with 3 grandchildren, all serving Christ faithfully.
